TRA-MAGE SOLAR DAYS in partnership with Utah Solar Energy Assocation

 September 23-25, 2010 · TRA-MAGE Solar Education Park

   


 

Utah Solar Energy Association (UtSEA) in partnership with TRA-MAGE, Inc. is proud to announce TRA-MAGE Solar Days together with the Utah Solar Tour 2010. The event will begin on Thursday and go through Saturday at TRA-MAGE's Solar Education Park.  This park was designed to inform the public about the latest practical applications in solar technology, including solar tracking, solar racking and solar mounting systems. Classes will be held during these events to help you understand the basics of solar energy. (see below)  UtSEA and TRA-MAGE, Inc. share a common vision of increased education and adoption of solar energy in Utah and the Utah Solar Tour 2010 is a major step toward achieving that goal.

 

Who's Invited? Manufacturers, integrators, installers, utilities, investors, builders, architects, large energy users, policymakers, and others with a business interest in solar.

Utah Students to Take Part in Solar Powered Schooling

Students of all ages participate in solar events all leading up to the 2010 Utah Solar Tour

 

Join the Utah Solar Energy Association for a solar powered weekend as we accompany Utah schools and solar energy experts for a first-hand look at how Utah’s sunny

climate is powering our homes and businesses.

 

Solar energy is on the rise in Utah and the Utah Solar Energy Association (UtSEA) has launched a tour of some of the most exciting and innovative solar projects in

Utah.  From homes to businesses and schools, there is a variety of solar installations in Utah currently providing clean, renewable energy to Utah families and businesses. 

And for the first time ever, Utah’s public schools are getting in on the action!  The 2010 Utah Solar Tour is offering events specifically for local school districts to teach

students about solar energy technologies, applications, and careers.

Customer Day

11:00-3:30 (MST)


Utah Solar Tour 2010 - T.R.A.-MAGE customer (and future customers) day Solar energy companies from around the state will be on-hand to demonstrate and give

classes on the newest in alternative power systems.  Classes will be taught by professionals on each specific topic including solar thermal, solar photovolatic, and

water management. Classes will be held every 30 minutes at the T.R.A.-MAGE Solar Park. The Park 2 of TRA-Mage’s solar energy tracking systems and 2 rows of

false roofs demonstrating the different types of solar technologies and mounting systems. TRA-Mage created the Park as a educational and training tool for solar energy.

Utah Solar Tour/General Public

Kick off 10:00-11:00 Open House until 4:00

 

Utah Solar Tour 2010 officially kicks off! Solar energy companies from around the State will be on-hand to demonstrate the newest in alternative power systems. 

All new locations include some of the most exciting and innovative solar installations to date.  Learn first hand from homeowners, business owners, and solar experts

about how to utilize solar energy in your home or business, what incentives are available, and much more.

In addition, this year’s tour will feature sites with geothermal, small wind energy, passive solar design, and energy efficiency design and technologies.  The 2010

Utah Solar Tour will feature sites as far north as Logan and as far south as Payson. For the complete map of solar tour sites, visit www. utsolar.org
