First of all, solar panels really aren’t that heavy. A huge amount of labor is spent finding the exact center of the rafters as this will help to keep the panels in place and stop the wind from blowing them off, so it’s okay if this takes a bit of time. There are new mounting products coming out that will reduce this labor and professional installers will know what they are doing.
